Eleonora Zouganali to headline the 32nd Lonsdale Street Festival

We are excited to announce that Greek singing sensation Eleonora Zouganeli will headline the 32nd Lonsdale St Greek Festival with a free outdoor concert on Saturday 23rd February 2019 on her first ever Australian visit.

Zouganeli’s contemporary and traditional songs and her versatile singing style will cater to audiences young and old – cementing her reputation as a household name.

Eleonora Zouganeli, the daughter of multi-talented entertainer Yannis Zouganelis and actress Isidora Sideri has performed next to many great Greek artists including Giorgos Dalaras, Dimitris Mitropanos, Michalis Hatzigiannis, Filippos Pliatsikas and Lavrendis Mahairitsas. With a unique ability to cater for a wide range of musical tastes, she has been entertaining audiences all over Greece and Cyprus for over a decade.

Lonsdale St Greek Festival Director, Jorge Menidis said “We are very excited to confirm Ms Zouganeli as our marquee act for our 2019 event. She is a worthy inclusion to the long line of stellar performers that have played on the corner of Russell & Lonsdale over the years.”

“I am looking forward to performing in Australia and in particular at the Antipodes Festival and the Greek Festival of Sydney” said Zouganeli from Athens.
