Greece 21: Death of a Romantic: Lord Byron and the influence of the Romantic movement on the Greek world

The significance of Romanticism and the idea of the “re-emergence” of a classical Greek state is celebrated in an evening of poetry, music and historic storytelling. An ensemble of actors, & musicians will present an evening that will include readings of work by Byron and his fellow European Romantics such as Keats, Shelley, Hugo, Dumas etc., as well as the poetry of Palamas and the emerging Greek poets who lent on the style and form of the Romantic movement.
