Greek folk stories with an accordion

Join us at The Greek Centre on Sunday 6th October for a music concert promising to take you to Greece through known and unknown stories of the greatest Greek folk artists such as Apostolos Kaldaras, Stelios Kazantzidis, Stratos Dionysiou, Akis Panou and others … Starting from the 1950s till the end of the 1980s, you will learn about the role of the accordion and the farfisa during the golden era of greek folk music with the help of popular accordion players including Giorgos Koulaxizis, Vasilis Vasiliadis, Kostas Stamatakis, Lazaros Koulaxizis and Takis Soukas,
